March in Sri Lanka is the perfect time to explore the island’s beauty — warm sunshine, vibrant festivals, and lush landscapes in full bloom. This journey is designed to blend relaxation with discovery, offering you moments to unwind while also immersing yourself in the rich culture, history, and flavours of this tropical paradise. From scenic train rides and cultural workshops to time for pampering and leisure, every detail is thoughtfully planned to make your experience truly memorable.

Day 1 Arrival

Arrive at Colombo International Airport, where you’ll be warmly welcomed and transferred to a charming nearby hotel — the perfect place to rest and relax after your journey.

Day 2 Unawatuna beach

We’ll journey together to Unawatuna, where you’ll check in to a delightful hotel close to the golden beach and the historic Galle Fort. The afternoon is yours to unwind — perhaps take a leisurely stroll along the shore, explore the quaint streets of Galle Fort, or simply enjoy the sunset by the sea before a restful evening. (Optional snorkelling and diving)

Day 3 Galle Fort


Today you’ll enjoy a guided walking tour of the historic Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll through its cobbled streets, discover its colonial charm, and take in sweeping views of the ocean as you learn the fascinating stories behind this iconic landmark. After the tour, you’ll have time to browse the boutique shops, stop at a cozy café, or simply relax and take in the fort’s timeless atmosphere at your own pace.

Day 4 Sea turtles


In the morning, we’ll visit a sea turtle conservation project, where you’ll learn about the incredible work being done to protect these gentle creatures. Later, enjoy a leisurely cycling tour through the city, discovering its hidden corners and lively streets at your own pace. Afterward, take some time to relax, or perhaps revisit a favorite spot from the day’s adventures.

Day 5 Safari and Camping

At dawn, we’ll set off for Yala National Park, where your adventure begins with an early morning safari. As the sun rises, watch the park come alive, from majestic elephants and playful monkeys to the possibility of spotting the elusive leopard. After your wildlife experience, you’ll settle into a comfortable campsite surrounded by nature, the perfect setting to unwind and reflect on the day.

Day 6 Ella Falls

Today marks the beginning of your journey from the golden coast to the misty hills. Along the way, we’ll pause to admire the stunning Ella Falls, a picture-perfect cascade surrounded by lush greenery. By afternoon, you’ll arrive in Nuwara Eliya, where the cool mountain air and rolling tea plantations create the perfect backdrop for a refreshing change of pace. By train or private coach.

Day 7 Nuwara Eliya

No trip to the hill country is complete without a tour of a working tea factory to witness the fascinating process of how world-renowned Ceylon tea is made, from leaf to cup. Afterward, savor a fresh brew while surrounded by the scenic plantations, a true taste of Sri Lanka’s heritage.

Day 8 Kandy

Continue your journey to Kandy, the cultural heart of Sri Lanka. Here, you’ll take part in a hands-on batik-making session, learning this beautiful traditional art form. In the evening, enjoy a captivating cultural dance performance that brings the rhythms and stories of Sri Lanka to life.

Day 9 Kandy

Begin the morning with a special visit to a local home, where you’ll cook and share breakfast together — a warm and authentic experience that offers a true taste of Sri Lankan hospitality. Afterwards, start your journey back down to Colombo, taking in the changing landscapes along the way.

Day 10 Colombo

For the final leg of your journey, enjoy a guided tour of urban Colombo. Explore bustling markets and boutique shops, sample a variety of local and international restaurants and admire a few of the city’s historic landmarks with your guide. It’s the perfect way to soak up the vibrant energy of the capital before preparing for your return flight home.
